Survtec (Unit) CO2 system
The Unit CO2 system is a fully submerged system designed to include space for special areas, engine rooms, pump rooms, and cargo compartments. Unitor high-pressure carbon dioxide fire extinguishing systems have been used by hundreds of ships and offshore facilities worldwide.
Main functions:
Manually operated or pressure operated valves for rapid release of carbon dioxide gas (alternative)
Independent system - no electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical devices are required to release gas
The system is equipped with an alarm device to inform the crew in advance of escaping from the CO2 release area
Safe release delay function will ensure the safety of the crew
Sequential release design provides a z-optimal solution to protect enclosed spaces
Survitec (Unit) Low Pressure Fire Protection System
The Unitor XFlow ® The local protection water mist system is a local fire extinguishing system for internal combustion machinery in special areas.
Advantages include:
The local protection unit can be plug and play as long as it is connected to water, electricity, water pumps, and pipelines
Heavy duty corrosion resistant type approved valves
Nozzle in standby position for protection
Dry piping system - using a small amount of water to achieve immediate release, up to 16 bar of maximum pressure
Can be provided as part of a total flooding system or accommodation system.
The system will meet the requirements of MSC/circ 1387 type and certification IMO Circ.913 requirements
